Hi everyone,
Just a quick update on "where we're at" with the Super Group.
Membership:
* We continue to grow a few people at a time, and have about 20 members now.
Coalition:
* Our official "/coalition" continues to grow. We now have 3 other SGs we are aligned with: Luna Arcanum, a magic based group who collect rare and dangerous artifacts, The Hideout, a refuge for displaced super-naturals, and the Galactic Sentinels, space-based defenders of the galaxy. I encourage everyone to get to know our coalition friends, group with them, RP with them, etc.
* The purpose of this coalition is to collect small, theme-based super groups which share our passion for friendly/casual RP, with each one having its own unique theme. I'm hoping that the coalition will act as a central hub for us as players, so characters can find a home that fits their theme while staying in the 'larger family' of our SGs.
* We also have another coalition formed with the server's United Nations themed SGs. Currently we're working on a website for the UNGDF (United Nations Global Defense Forces) which will be our central hub for forums, members, meetings, etc. I'll give you more ideas about how we plan to work with this new coalition in the coming weeks, but in the meantime I also encourage everyone to get to know the other UN groups. You can chat with them all by joining the 'UN' chat channel on the server.
Base Upgrades:
* We are getting pretty close to having a fully operational teleportation network in the base, and are only a few more telepods away from completing it. I estimate we need another 500k or so to really get the base off the ground, with all the major facilities and decorations to make our base look great.
* What this means for all of us is: stay in super group mode! We really need the points to finish the base! If you're less then level 24 there is absolutely no reason not to stay in SG mode since it costs you nothing, and even at higher levels its a good thing because the amount of influence you loose is nothing compared to the amount of influence you will gain from even one decent trade on the auction house.
